A weekend of guest experiences at Ata Rangi Lodge in Kaikōura, from polo and honey collecting to gin tasting, clay pigeon shooting, and a helicopter arrival, shot to capture what a stay there actually feels like.

Perched above the Kaikoura coastline with the Seaward Ranges on one side and open ocean on the other, Ata Rangi's remoteness is the whole point of a stay there, and it shaped the shoot as much as any of the six activities did, planning each session around what the weather would give us rather than a fixed script.
